What vitamins help clear skin?

What vitamins help clear skin?

We’ve all had periods of time in our life, where we have suffered with breakouts and/or acne. It can be related to diet, hormones, reactions to products, or simply just one of those things!

I myself have suffered with adult acne on and off  for over a decade. The reason I started RUCI was because of the research I began into nutrients and vitamins which could help me with my skin. It was from here I found which vitamins worked best for me. I then looked to create a product combining them all into one supplement to make it easier, cheaper and more efficient to take the correct supplements each day.

This is me…Pic 1 from December 2022- Pic 2 February 2023 after using Clear & Calm.

In this article, I’m going to cover some of my favourite vitamins and nutrients that can help inflamed, angry skin and reduce breakouts. Leaving you will Clear & Calm skin.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is one of my favourite vitamins when it comes to skincare health. It has so many benefits, but when it comes to acne, it’s particularly powerful.

Vitamin A is an antioxidant and it also has anti-inflammatory properties which is perfect for calming your skin post breakout. Vitamin A also promotes new cell growth and can be wonderful for reducing acne marks and scars.

Zinc

Zinc has been found to decrease oil production in the skin, which can be a leading cause in acne and breakouts. Decreasing oil production can reduce the chance of blocked pores and bacterial growth.

MSM

MSM is a nutrient which isn’t as well known as the other nutrients on this list. MSM is so powerful when it comes to a nutrient high in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. To me, it really is a wonder nutrient! It’s extremely calming and has wonderful effects when treating acne and breakouts.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is very effective in helping with pigmentation and scarring after acne flare ups. It can help reduce inflammation and hyper pigmentation in the skin post breakout.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D has antimicrobial properties so if you suffer from acne caused by bacteria then Vitamin D can help calm your symptoms. Vitamin D also has anti-inflammatory properties, meaning by having adequate levels of vitamin D in our system we can reduce the inflammatory symptoms of acne.

Vitamin B

Vitamin B is a natural anti-inflammatory that works by reducing the swelling and redness associated with acne. It also regulates the amount of acne-causing oil being produced by the glands in your skin.

So there you have it, my 6 favourite vitamins & nutrients in fighting acne, calming skin & reducing the damage in the skin after flare ups.

The best part? All 6 nutrients are of course combined and present in Clear & Calm.

Clear & Calm is a labour of love for me. As an acne sufferer I really wanted to bring a skin supplement to the market that can really help people. It’s a totally unique product with nothing else like it on the market. It costs less than 90p a day, it’s banana in flavour & super easy to take.
